Suck my bag

This device, that lets you plug your hoover into a bag, is there anyway to make one of these yourself, using black bin bags? Thanks. M

do you mean the space bags that store thing without air?

 if you do, yes its dead easy.

Make sure you bin bag has no holes, put in your stuff, only about half or two thirds fill the bag, have ready and elastic band. Put your hoover hose in the bag and hold the neck of the bag round it tightly. turn on hoover, suck out air, grasp bag tightly below hoover hose in one hand, remove hose with other hand, twist up top of bag, add rubber band et viola...vacuum packed whatever

no, not if you have the end of the hose quite near to the objects you have put in the bag

Put the hose right into the clothes etc you are storing. Not just near.

well but if the things have small dangly bits or are small themselves, then they block the nozzle or whizz up it
