I have flushed a number of times and the water just fills the bowl and takes hours to flow away, tryed hot kettle water, even drain unblocker. Is there any ideas without having to buy a plunger. Is there something fizzy or something like bi carb or something in the kitch cupboard? I have not put the brush in there yet either... I havent wanted to.....I won't go into detail

Have you got an 'old-fashioned' mop to hand ?
(preferably that has retired from floor-cleaning)
Find the nearest manhole to the toilet, lift the cover ... if that's full, your toilet isn't actually blocked. Sounds more like a blockage beyond the pan to me.

Failling that, eat more spicy food and less bran. ;-)

You don't really want to be putting anything 'more' into a blocked toilet without first discovering WHY it's blocked.

If the u-bend is clear (marigold & a nose-peg test) it's further down the pipe.

The manhole is the next place to look.
Naz has beaten me to it - given what you've tried, sounds like blockage is a bit more remote from toilet-pan .

oww a curry.....

No mop.... I can spare anyways

All the other toliets are fine though? and the showers sinks etc no slowed flow there. I suspect the plumbing isnt done well as everything in the house is installed baddly this has already blocked once before

well the pans still full and I suspect the u bend is too I need to find a good way of geting thing 'moving again' other than having the bale out or something horrible like that... sorry not detailed before but was trying to be tactful
You could roll up your sleeve, or take your top clothing off, and feel around the bend for what is causing the problem. That needs no plunger.

If you don't find it there, it is further down the pipe. As others have mentioned, check the manhole in the back garden for clues. It that filling up or is the blockage between it and the toilet ?

I'm unsure a plunger will have a large effect, one of those wire things you push and twist might be better. It can grab paper, towels, nappies, whatever, further down and shift it.

thanks everyone for the help, I feel a right idiot asking but I dont want to get my hands dirty and then you guys say oh you just do this ........arghhhhhh! lol
Wrap an old sheet, or similar, around the end of a boom/mop, etc. handle.
Then use the thing like a plunger..............
Trouble is that a physical blockage is going to need physical intervention!!
I used a piece of garden hose once... chop a piece off and shove it down the loo and give it a good wiggle!

sounds great if only I had some hose.....maybe I have something else suitable I should look around
If you have a wire coathanger, unravel it and use that to have a grope around the u-bend
"I used a piece of garden hose once... chop a piece off and shove it down the loo and give it a good wiggle! "

Don't be tempted to siphon ... :-(

You may need to bite the proverbial bullet here.

Wrap you hand and arm in a dustbin liner and have a firk around - you'll get a better idea of the blockage is something solid like a piece of pipework, or ... not because you can use your senfe of touch.

When you withdraw your hand, use your other hand to gently unravel the liner over your hand, turning it inside out - you have probably seen your supermarket butcher or fishmonger do this as a way to wrap food without touching it.

Screw up the liner and bin it.

Good luck.
Jury-rig plunger...place a black binliner with a little air in itin the pan, (but hold onto an end!!). Use a big plastic coke bottle (preferably empty) to plunge up and down. Experiment with positioning the binliner for best effect.
