Is there a standard of the amount of rubbish they will take?
We're just in the middle of removing fitted wardrobes (yay) and wasn't sure if they would be too much for them to take..
Anyone know?

Might be cheaper to see if you have a local pick-up/disposal company who would do it, but check that they are properly licenced, you don't want your old wardrobes tipped in the local stream.

check your council website. Many have free dumps, but will charge for taking household goods away . Some £30 for first 15 minutes. They wont take rubble from DIY projects, people have to take it to dump themselves and pay by weight to dispose of. Ridiculous really encourages fly tipping. Loads of wood - burn it. Rubble try to share a skip with neighbours./ I have put washing machine and other scrap at front of property picked up by scrap men - just put notice on it FREE scrap.
