Anyone know something to remove stains from white upvc windows, without scratching the surface. The stain is coming from the rubber seals which are about 25 years old and I suspect perishing slightly.

Hi as the others have said it may not be possible to remove it, but you could always go into B&Q or similar and buy UPVC cleaner. I have used it on mine and it worked. Worth a try as it only costs a few quid. Paint on UPVC should really only be used as a last resort.

If the stain is simply on the surface you could use Cif. But I suspect that the stains will have penetrated the UPVC, in which case nothing will remove them. A coat of appropriate paint may be the only way to improve the appearance.
Nothing will.

If the glass and the frames are otherwise OK I would suggest getting the rubber seals replaced. I'm sure a small local double-glazing company would be glad of the work and it would extend the life of the windows.
If the stain is on the surface, try T-Cut.
just use a mild solution of water and bleach to clean the rubber (DO NOT SCRUB)
and for the frames just use something similar to Jiff?
from any major grocery store i use asda's
