I need to get a hand held vacuum cleaner, but not sure which one to get. I would like a bagless one with a few attachments and maybe a nozzle. And also good suction for cat hair.

Grateful for your recommendations. Thank you

Only one that I have seen with good reviews is the Dyson hand held, most seem to struggle with even the most basic of jobs. Problem with the Dyson is that it is expensive and quite bulky.

Is there a particular reason you are after a hand held as most cheaper plug ins will do a much better job.
The Dyson hand held is great.
Google, Lightweight vacumn cleaners.

I just wanted something small to pick up stuff quickly rather than get my big vacuum every half hour when the cats leave their fur here and there and also when Lt Tiggs drops crums.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I have a Dyson hand-held which is great although it was expensive. It has lots of suction, is easy to use and easy to empty. I bought if for doing the car interior, cat hairs, the stairs and when I spill stuff all over the kitchen floor and don't want to get the upright out! My only gripe is that the charge doesn't last long so you have to be a really speedy vacuumer (good exercise though).
