Every Saturday I get the Newspapers for six old people. They only get papers on Saturdays for the TV guide. For the last couple of weeks I have been under the weather so no papers. Today I went to ask if they still wanted papers or had they made other arrangements. Every one of them told me that Mrs X's grandson had got them last week. When it came to paying for the said papers he charged everyone of them £1 for going for them. No mention was made of this beforehand. Entrepreneur or a little sh1t bag. I know what I would call him.

the latter springs to mind
Little toad, if one of my kids had done that I'd have been less than pleased to say the least.
Entrepreneurial little sh1t bag
Hi mic. I don't know what the cost of paper deliveries is these days, but he is doing well for his pocket money with such a confined customer base. Good neighbour habits seem to be dying out all round, sadly.
So he charged them the cost of the newspaper plus a quid for going or did he just charge them a quid each?

Depends how old he is!
Is the grandson a wee lad? Kids look for any opportunity to make some dosh. :-)

I'm sure the neighbours had the choice of refusing the 'deliver' service

The kid will go far, another Alan Sugar I bet, The little sh*tbag should be mugged on his way home. Then you can reapply for the post mic and only charge them 50p each.

lol joeluke. He charged the cost of the paper plus £1. He is about 12.
Where I live no one delivers the papers.
Well done kid ...
But he will not survive in a society where all his mates will be drinking beer and playing xbox games on the dole , while he works ....
I'm amazed at the amount of people who think this is entrepreneurial... I think it's absolutely shocking.
That's a bit cheeky but quite funny too, I would have been happy to give hin the quid for his cheek tbh. Though I may have also declined to use his delivery service again!
too right, good on him!

Why can't these people buy their own papers?
I think, at 12, is forgiveable. Good for him. Not all the elderly are poor, either. I've worked with many whose Bank statements would make your eyes water! As long as they had the choice...

I agree with you Nox.
Well done mic, btw, for having helped your neighbours in the past. I don't suppose anybody offered to return the favour to you in the last fortnight?

So do I nox. I spend a lot of my time doing errands, moving wheelie bins etc. I wonder if the boys mother knew what he had done.
Hello?

Why couldn't they go to the papershop themselves? I'm assuming they aren't infirm?
