winter hellebores

I have 3 hellebores and 1 has grown properly and the other two only have growth close to the soil. Any answers out there?

The cold can make them stunted and produce less flowers... Is the 'good' one somewhere a bit more sheltered than the other two?

They dont like being disturbed. Mine are all in flower & stayed in same position for over 10y.

They like old foliage left on until frosts have gone.
Divide every few years and throw away the centre, woody part ; )
