hey all i would like my house re-plastered, i am pretty sure skimming the walls would be sufficent as there has only ever been one lot of paper on it.
What price would i be looking at for skim of the whole house? any advice or tip?

Errrr, do you live in a 1 bedroom house or a 15 bedroom mansion?
C'mon Chuck ... use 'the force'.

very sorry a three bedroom house lol x
The force is weak in this one, I was sure it was going to be a 15 bedroom mansion :)

Out of curiosity, Donna, is the 1901 your birth year? if it is you're very with it for 110 years old :)

now plastering ?? x
........... sorry to be awkward Donna, but there are so many things to be considered. I could give you a rough idea if the whole house was empty ........ cleared of furniture, carpets, people.......... but I'll bet that's not practicable!
What you need is one guy or two at the most to do a room at a time. Overall, this will inevitably cost more. With an empty (or new) house, they would flit around from room to room , with several walls on at once........... cutting down the cost.
I usually advise people to go down to their local Builder's Merchants and ask the guys in the yard who the local plasterers are......... one and two man bands :o)
Plasterers ALWAYS like a look first : )
I know I do.
Hi donna, is there a reason you need them skimmed. You say they have only had one lot of wallpaper on them so in my mind the house can't be that old. Could be wrong though.
