compulsory re test of driving skills for over 70's?

retesting of drivers as they get older is a good idea....but am wondering what does it consist of....Is it a reaction time thing, night vision , hearing..... what are they looking for in these types of driving tests???

Here in Spain one has to be retested every 5yrs from the age of 50. It involves an eye test, a general medical BP etc and a test on a computer (driving 2 cars up different roads at the same time -gulp) So far I have passed but its gets very nervewracking. Its still a good idea but looking at young spanish drivers I feel everyone should take it regularly.
