Since the tablet has to dissolve before it is absorbed into the blood system, I would say pre-dissolving it in water would be the faster way of ingesting it. By crushing it you increase the surface area and so make dissolving it quicker.
Nyope, there's no way of knowing that unless you know the drug action. The "rate limiting step" could be anywhere from gut to neurotransmission.
j2buttonsw is quite correct. By crushing the pill the surface area to volume exposed to stomach acid is considerably greater than if the pill were exposed as a whole. It would therefore work more quickly.
Nyope (2). It IS true that absorbency in stomach would PROBABLY be greater if it were crushed, but it is NOT true that it would get to work much faster as a result. You cannot answer that until you establish the full mechanism and the rate-limiting step. Just because paracetamol works faster in powder form does not mean that all drugs do.

The golden i stick to for a viagra tab to work fast is not to eat anything fatty or high in fat way before taking as it slows down the digestion process. I also cut the tablet into 2 peices so that the covering is broken. This i beleive will help because it takes time for this linning to breakdown. The fat ingestion bit is a tip provided on the makers website!
