Just turn your TV volume down ( to avoid feedback), place the transmitter unit near the TV speaker, switch on the receiver end and hey presto you got yourself a cheap and cheerful wireless speaker. Granted the sound quality isn't great, but if you want to improve on the sound quality you can always swap a better speaker onto the receiver end of the baby monitor (but make sure it's the correct impedeance).
Or hook up the two open speaker wires from the baby monitor revciever to a computer speaker (with an in-built amplifier).
I'm assuming the Sanyo TV does not have an audio output souce i.e headphone socket, thats why I'm suggesting this method. If you think my suggestion is a joke, hey, your welcome to buy the 49.99 wireless active speaker from Maplin, bearing in mind the speaker works in the same principle as the baby monitor, they both use FM radio wave to transmit the audio signal.
Oh, some people also use the redundant baby monitor as a remote door bell monitor while they are outside gardening.
