Not quite sure where to post this one!

I work in a quiet office with no access to the radio but on several occasions have gone on to the shop floor to find that the song I am singing is currently playing.

Is this just a case of simple coincidence or can we pick up radio waves?

ps i'm convinced i'm special as i'll often be singing something and turn the radio on and its the same song :-)
Oh, you bad lad, though have to cofess that a few people have heard my morse and wondered what had happened to their sets. Keep a little stock of high/low pass filters, just in case.
We were quite childish at the time (unbelievable I know) so there was a lot of calls out for stupid names to report to the front office (similar to the Simpsons phone calls) and as I did actually work in the same store for a while used to get genuine members of staff running all over the shop to different departments.

When it first happened it was a total accident, I was simply parked up chatting to somebody on the radio and didn't realise my entire side of the conversation could be heard by everyone in the shop!
please tell me it was an embarrassing convo

I suffered from that when CB first came out. Some guy across the street had one. If I had my music system on and he transmitted I used to get the conversation through my speakers as well.
"Attention shoppers. Attention shoppers. A free case of whiskey for the first 6 shoppers to show their loyalty card at the lingerie department. Thank you."
Most amusing incident was when a neighbour was hopping mad outside the house when we turned up from a walk, so went to sort his TV. Took him a little while to get the fact that I couldnt be transmitting and out with the dog.
I probably shouldn't mention the night time trip up onto the roof of a mates house to remove a 5 element beam antenna on a rotator mount because sicking 1KW up it was wiping out an entire towns TV and the DTI started to take an interest!
