Tescos Sim Card

Afternoon,

I recently brought a tescos sim card (pay as you go) for my phone which I'm perfectly happy with except for the fact that every time I send a text or make a call, it bleeps at me to give me my balance, it's damn irritating! I've looked through the phone settings and can't seem to see a way of switching it off so I don't think it's the actual phone (nokia if that's important).

Has anyone else had a phone with a tescos sim card that did this? And if so, did you manage to stop it doing it? And if so, for the love of all that is sane, how did you accomplish this?!

If you give them a call they can turn that notification off for you...

I think I have it... I have a text saying that my 5000 bundle is ready to use and saying thank you to me so I'm assuming that I have it... I don't know enough people to use 5000 texts even I wanted to.

I Like the texts I get from O2 when my free text/internet allowance runs out.... they send me a text telling me about every half an hour, day and night!

Last month It was about 4 days until I got round to topping up again and I got 90 text messages from them, it's really makes me feel popular!

I'm on Tesco and I find it quite useful to know my balance after I make calls or send texts - but that's probably just me!!!

Knowing you balance is useful, but it's the bleep bleeping after every text that drives you mad.
