Dual fuel range cooker
10 Answers
I want to buy a 90cm range cooker - but a friend says avoid the Dual Fuel ones and just buy a gas one which is far better
Anyone confirm that dual fuel is not worth having?

after gas ovens all our life we recently got an electric oven , best thing we ever did, still got a gas hob...We found after listening to all the scare stories abouts costs we werent certain it was the right thing to do, they were all so wrong.... very wrong.

Don't use Coleman fuel, it's a rip off. Even though petrol clogs up the 'generator' which ends up having to be replaced, it's still the cheaper option by far.
So, my advice: get one - the gas ones are feeble and you may end up having to trudge miles to find a stockist of canisters if you run out in the middle of nowhere. When you get it, order a spare generator.
