Weed killer
Can anyone tell me a good strong weed killer I can use on all the weeds and grass growing up round my house and through my driveway? Problem is I have a cat and the ones I have tried are too weak.

Ive used it 50/50 roundup concentrate/water to kill 12" diameter willow stumps and also used it to kill bullrushes in ornamental ponds. It zaps pretty much all perennial weeds although ive had a 10 year battle with marestail but the roundup is slowly winning. I use it on brambles, nettles, bindweed, thistles and im even using it on a huge berberis that has been cut down to ground level and starting to re-grow....it's sorting that out a treat.

Hammerman, I also have a problem with marestail. I use the herbicide Pastoral which we buy from our local agricultural suppliers. Used double strength, it knocks it back succesfully. We are getting less and less each year. Unlike roundup it doesn't kill of the grass and kills only broadleaf species. Have also used it on Ragwort at double strength with great success.
