I had a small fire in the kitchen last night and had to use the fire extinguisher to put it out. I didn't need much. Does that fire extinguisher need replacing now or can I save it for next time I have a culinary "incident"?
Presuming its a CO2 extinguisher you can have it checked for the remaining pressure inside it. There are small businesses who provide this type of service in most towns in the UK - most of their business comes from doing the annual checks on fire extinguishers in business premises.
