A Ferrule or NOT a Ferrule, That is the Question?
9 Answers
Greetings each.
I am trying to get my hands on some of those screw-threaded metal inserts ie inserts which screw into a pre-drilled hole in a piece of wood, but also have a female thread inside which allows another piece of wood to be bolted onto it. Does that make sense?
I call them ferrules but cannot seem to Google 'em!
Does anyone happen to know the correct name for these things, and also where I can buy them in UK please?
Many thanks.
Be good!
Cheers.
