Have found out today that i have been sent a letter regarding 2 late car finance payments. I only knew about one of them. i had already contacted them prior to this letter to say i was sending payment through the post, i phoned to see whether payment had arrived but was told no and that a letter of default had gone out in the post the previous day! what does this mean and how will it affect my future?
