My 6 year old AM6855 built in fridge freezer sadly needs replacing due to what seems to be a very common fault but is deemed irrepairable. Can anyone tell me what model/make would be the nearest replacement in terms of dimensions and similarity of features. I am living in a nightmare world trying to resolve this problem.

Rallentando could you post the dimensions of your fridgefreezer? I think this was supplied by MFI and I can't find any pictures or details of this f/f and therefore can't suggest a replacement.

Thanks e.crespo. It is an MFI. (Diplomat). Dimensions are 1720cm (h) 540cm (w) 470cm (d) and is frost free
Rallentando, I have noted the dimensions of your f/f and the depth of 47cms seems unusual. I believe your f/f is a built in model, are you now looking for a free standing one? Is this the kind of thing: http://www.appliances...eezer-White-8346.aspx ? As you will see, the depth is nothing like your existing one and I have always had f/freezers approx 60cms deep. My current f/f is a Liebherr and I am pleased with it but although mid priced there are bargains to be found online.

Franiak I have replaced my Diplomat built in Fridge Freezer with a BEKO BC50F and I am delighted with it. Curry's did a great job delivering, installing and taking old one away.
