cannot get a battery monitor to work on my laptop...any of them!
0 Answers
the windows own one doesnt show, and when i try to get it to show in properties, that option shows up black with OFF written in it....!!
and it will not let me change it.
all the other buttons allow me to turn things on and off
when i look in control panel theres just power options, no gauge
i have installed about 3 desktop gadget gauges...all show 'no battery'
i have installed 3 pieces of battery monitor software...none of them could 'find it'...
this has been happening for a good few months now and i assumed it was because my battery was on its last legs and only had about 15mins of life left
however i have just today installed a brand new battery...and still none of them will recognise it!
its working fine, battery is good...
how can i get the computer to acknowledge it?
its a compaq presario f500 on win7, firefox
thanks
