Don't trust BT Vision on anything.
(You're better off with Freeview HD, Freesat HD, or a basic Sky HD Sub with an HD box you buy yourself for £60.
No, the BT Vision box is merely a receiver of the standard Freeview service via your aerial, plus some on-demand stuff (Films, iPlayer etc.) via your BT broadband connection.
The BT Vision box is built for HD .. with an hdmi connector tho.
Why they don't do something good with it i beyond me.
It was designed before the HD DVB-T2 chipsets had even been finalised to implement it, so doesn't incorporate the necessary hardware to receive Freeview HD transmissions.
