Stalking- Logging with the Police
My mother recently ended her relationship with her partner due to him being unfaithful. Since then, he has become a nuisance with daily texts, phone calls, voicemails and today he was waiting in his car as she left work (although he didn't approach her). He has even managed to gain access to her Facebook account and re-add himself as a friend. She has removed him again, blocked him and changed her password, but I'm so worried about her; her tyre had even been let down when she left work on another night.
My mother is ill with worry and I want her to get these things logged with the Police, but how do we go about it and exactly how much detail do they need? She has all the texts saved, and NEVER replies, but do they simply need a number of texts or all of them written out individually? Thank you for any advice in advance.

Hopefully though, he will come to terms with the split and stop this nonsense. No doubt he's still holding a candle for her and regrets what he's done. He's just trying to catch a glimpse of her and be part of her life again. Or is he threatening her? The stronger she is and the more she ignores him the quicker he will get over it. (We hope) Good luck to her in her new life.

Thank you, both! That's really helpful, treetops.
Thanks for the best wishes, Maidup. My mother has always seen the best in everyone and been very trusting, so I hope the damage it's done to her isn't lasting. Sadly, he fits the EXACT profile of a sociopath, and has said he won't be giving up anytime soon...
