Sky + Anytime

i have a samsung HD box which I can connect to my router with a cable (so I am told) in order to access Sky+ Anytime, however if I want to connect wirelessly Sky will sell me something? for £60.00 to enable me to do this. Has anyone connected wirelessly to receive this service and if so is there a way around sending Sky more money?
