i am trying to get on a webpage but internet explorer says it cannot download this webpage ANY SUGGESTIONS to help

I’ve recently had a lot of problems with Internet Explorer and was recommended by a savvy computer buff to try Firefox and I must say I have had no problems since. I will admit it took a bit of getting used to, but I use it all the time now. It’s also free to download.
