Mine sucks ALL the paper in, rather than one sheet at a time. I've tried flicking/fanning the paper to prevent static, and still no joy. Feeding the paper in manually for 40 page articles is getting tedious. Can you offer any help!?

The pickup rollers have worn smooth through use, there is no real cure for this, parts for an inkjet, if you can find them would cost more than the printer is worth.

I suggest you buy a new one.

Thank you for your answer but I bought it last summer, yet did not start using it until last week. So it's not old age. Anyone got any other ideas?

we have this trouble at work and someone said it's because the paper is slightly damp. we moved the paper to another place for storage and never leave it in the printer overnight. it seems to have stopped it.

Could that be it?

I have a epson stylus C46, we have this problem too we only had thisfor 2 months,but the problem is not as bad as yours. I always try to put my paper in as far as possible, give the paper a slight push, keep the paper in a uniform pile of course. If that doesnt work your machine is still under guarantee, with epson you can take the printer to a repair and advice shop near you. you can find this at www.epson.co.uk . They will repair or replace for you.

Thank you for your advice everyone. I've also been told to rub alcohol on the printer rollers (seems a darn waste to me!! :p). I will try all of these things and hope that it works. At least the printer does print, it's just so TEDIOUS!! Thank you again though!
