Just an idea - is it possible to hire an actor for a photoshoot instead of a model...

the reason i ask is because id rather have an actor acting an emotion instead of a model posing and badly faking it

do proffesionals do that? if not... why not?! surley it makes alot more sense...

lastly... is it generally more expensive to hire an actor than it is a model...

Cost could be anything really, there are actors and then there are actors, the same goes for models. There are plenty if agencies online, give them an ask.

What model are you looking for? The traditional catwalk models are supposed to look that way, no real emotion to be shown. There is no cost difference between the two, they both range from a few quid to thousands for a photoshoot.

Indeed rockyracoon, an agency is the best option.

dont see why not... its all work for the folio...and many actors model too anyway...

try your local theatre college perhaps if youre low budget, or look in spotlight.
