electric fire

I have an electric fire with pebbles on the bottom. Recently when I turned it on the bulb must have gone because there was no light. My husband took the fire off the wall but still could not find where the bulb was.
I would be very appreciative if anyone could give me an answer to this problem.

With ours you remove all the pebbles and lift the glass plate underneath to get to the bulbs. On ours there is a small clip on one side which needs sringing back to release the glass. Yours may be the same.
