Turning off Vodafone Voicemail

Can anyone tell me how to disable the 121 on my mobile. I've just checked the cost of receiving a call when I go abroad soon and it's £1.30 a minute !! Therefore I need to switch it off in case anyone calls me. Thanks if you can help.

Try ##002# or use the menu on 121 or as a last resort call vodafone on 100

I dont know about vodafone but I cancelled mine by simply calling the free phone No. and going through all the options until I spoke to a "real" person, then simply told them to stop all answer phone services. Answer phone is after all a service that is provided by the operator and is in their benefit.

To switch off your voicemail, dial 1210.
To turn it on again, dial 1211.
(Calling 1212 sends mail direct to your voicemail, without your phone ringing. 1213 disables that feature).

You can turn off your voicemail by the following ways:

-You can turn off the voicemail by calling on “1210” from your Vodafone mobile.
-Call “121”> select “option 4” > “option 4” > “option 3”.

These calls are free if you are a “pay Monthly” customer and calling from UK. If you are calling from abroad or you are a “Pay as you go” customer, standard charges will be applied.
