I must congratulate myself (cos usually I'm a numpty) and Gravatar..I followed instructions from a thread, not really knowing what I was doing - and my avatar showed straight away, after reading other posts of it not working for ages!! well pleased!!

Rowanwitch......yes this comes from when I was younger and worked in a hotel in Bristol and the undermanager always called me chi chi because of my eye make-up! The 66 is the year it all happened! Wonder what happened to her and her mate An-An ....all those years ago - good times!!

chi-chi, I know im probably being think, but thats what I did last time I tried. Where and when exactly do you select the avtar pic, as obviously when I press activate avtar nothing happens as there is no pic selected

Smowball......... I went on to a Free Avatar site there are a few. Then selected a few, transferred them to my hard drive in Pictures, when avatar asks where you want to take a picture from,. select pictures. Or transfer it straight from the sight when it asks for the info. Hope this is fairly clear.!

erm, when I click "activate avtar" it doesnt ask me where I want to select a pic from - it doesnt do anything!

you have to do all the Gravatar stuff first.... then make sure you have the same user e mail on gravatar as well as AB as thats how it finds its way across
