Suddenly having a problem printing with my new Kodak ESP C110. Never had a problem, then I decided to install the CD as well. Also changed the black cartridge for a new Kodak one. I use Open Office for all my documents as I don't have Word on my laptop. Now when I try to print, the box says at the top that it is printing with Microsoft XPS Document Writer, I can change the box to say Fax, but this box used to say which printer I was using and it doesn't any more. I c ould also change to Draft print as well which I can't anymore, it is a completely different box. And it wouldn't print either. So I uninstalled my CD. It still gives me the same box, and won't print. Doesn't mention the printer I am using, etc. I have put the cable in so I can print, switched both laptop and printer off and on, I don't know what to do now. I am not at all technical so answers in simple terms please. Thanks all.
Hve to go out now but will try when I get bacvk. Tried reinstalling the printer under Devices but it Kodak isn't on their installation list. There was a tick on the Microsoft XPS logo which I deleted.
OK I tried installing the CD, and it said "create process failed" so can't even do that. I've just noticed in Printer Devices that the original Kodak printer that I installed a few weeks ago, isn't even there any more and Kodak doesn't come up as an installation. Help !!
Well I was in a bit of a panic this morning, but Chuck, in the end I got on to the Kodak website and downloaded the appropriate software (the same as on the CD you mentioned) and lo and behold, it then asked me to connect to my printer and Viola ! It Works !! Thanks so much, you are a Star :)
