My Bosch does that too.

I have had it from new and think it has always been the same. I simply pour the salt in and let the water overflow. There cannot be much in there.

The 'Refill Salt' light goes out so it must work.
Mine is always full. Always has been.
when i add salt water comes out,(indesit)
Yup, that's the way they work - the salt reservoir container is always full of water, and excess salty water just drains away into the bottom of the machine when you tip the fresh salt pellets in.
They should have supplied a special funnel which pours the salt in and allows the water to escape.
