Being a total technophobe, I am delighted to have managed to get my i-Pod working, and get some tunes on it.

Now - Gawd knows how! - I have managed to change the language into Chinese! Of course, I can't figure out how to change it becuase I can't read anything it is saying!!

Can anyone assist a frustrated old gentleman with modern technology please?

I have just bought a 2nd hand CD recorder, i bought a box of 10 cd-r80 music cds in separate boxes and they all recorder perfectly. I am now using a spindle of 25 cds from the same manufacturer but some record all the way through whereas some of them give

I just changed mine to Chinese to have a look and 'Reset all settings' is still in English. Can you have a hunt for that option?

Is there a local, friendly teenager you could ask? If not you might have to take it back to the shop and ask them to do it for you.

Click menu
>5th option down is settings
> third from the bottom is language
> top language is English.

Oh. You must have a different model to mine.
What do you have?

Another way to do it is to restore to factory settings using itunes, but that means you will have to put all your songs on again.

Just a bog standard little sliver one - it is quite old.
