As there was no rain and some sun I decided it would be great to wash everything and give my stuff a good airing. My mistake. Granny always told me it was bad luck to do laundry on a Sunday.

Try spinning it again. It might loosen up the gremlin. Mine often sticks on the spin and I can't open the door. I just re-spin.
