Can a Blackberry use android

In plain english please,can I buy a blackberry phone,second hand maybe,for my daughter,PAYG and have it use the android OP ?
My head is spinning and I dont even know which blackberry yet!

Simple answer is no
Blackberry mobiles use their on operating system which is specific to Blackberry.
The Android system is based loosely on Linux which has been tinkered with to allow use in the mobile area. Android and Blackberry Op systems are not compatible.

Every smartphone needs an operating system (same as your PC does).

iPhones use iOS, Andriod phones use Android OS, and Blackberry phones use their own OS.

So I dont believe you can run Android on a Blackberry phone.
