iPad emails going into trash box

can anyone advise.
I have just got iPad and when I go into my email on btyahoo they are showing in the Trash box not the In box. How do I rectify this?

Usually deleted messages will go into the trash box but this thing happened with you so you should have to check the filter option of the yahoo account.
