5 Answers
if you suspect someone may be intending to order a credit card in your name but you've no idea which company he/she will approach, is there any kind of website or organisation you can register with to whom you can say: "If anyone applies to any finance company attempting to order a credit card in my name, it's a fraud - it's not me - so please appregend them"? Or something to that effect.

These 'Statutory Credit Report' services are sometimes provided through specially developed and branded services such as Credit Expert from Experian and through commercial promotional services such as Credit Report for Callcredit.
