Hi ABers
Today I bought a 50m Vileda rotary airer for the garden. In the packaging is a plastic tube about 15cm / 6" in length and I can't seem to find what it does or where it goes! LOL
There's nothing in the destructions which, for once; I kept instead of immediately, being a bloke of course ;-) pressing the self destruct button after opening it!
Any ideas?
TIA DaGinge
BTW it's a major bargain at 50% off, down to £25 @ Argos!!

Ground-spike?

You insert the plastic tube into the hole in the ground and this stops the hole from collapsing when the airer isn't in place. The bottom end of the airer, the bit you stick in the ground, is inserted into the plastic tube.

That does seem like a bargain.
Normally the tube that goes into the ground is metal.

Perhaps it is a spacer, in case your hole in the ground is bigger.
make a hole in the ground at least 15cm deep insert the piece of plastic tubing then put concrete around it making sure it is plumb leave concrete to set overnight.Ready mixed concrete is available from most diy shops
