best phone company?

have a landline and internet with B.T...... they've done the dirty... what's new? and I want to change, but don't know where to go .... any ideas my friends?
Don't need any special tarriffs or add ons.... simply phone and internet....many thanks.

Very happy with Plusnet.

Zebuk: are you sure your friend is not mixing up a Yorkshire accent with an Indian accent? ..... lol.

Every single time I've rung Plusnet, which is not many, but I've always been answered by someone from their Yorkshire call centre.

Plusnet is wholly owned by BT but operates as a separate company.

All telephone exchanges (except Kingston upon Hull ) are in the hands of BT.

Consequently, if you are receiving Broadband via a telephone line. BT is involved in the operation of any service which is being provided by a third party.
