Dressmaking query

I am dressmaking today as hubby out working. Can anyone advise me how to make two perfect curved corners on two straps meeting in the middle of my shoulder blades please?

Not sure what you mean about meeting in the middle of your shoulder blades, but when making a rounded or curved corner, you snip the seam allowance to ensure it bends to shape easily. Ideally, one snips little "v`s" into the seam allowance,if you follow me, especially if the material is thick. What sort is your`s?

It IS difficult getting two to look exactly the same - but if you have cut your fabric carefully and followed the correct seam allowance, they should turn correctly - and as kloofneck says, the secret is to cut out little Vs almost up to the stitching on the inside edge of the curve, so that the fabric turns correctly without bunching. Press the seams well too.
