Spilt Mayo on my boots

Bought some lovely new suede boots on Saturday (no, not blue) by Monday there was a big splodge of mayo on them. How do I get it off?

The only thing that might work is if you scrape off the mayo and then douse the stained bit in talc. It might absorb some of the grease.
