tablets

Hi there,

I want to make life easy and thinking about buying a tablet, but don't really understand them.

I want to be able to:

Access internet
Listen to music
Scan and upload documents ie study notes
Read books etc.

I had initially thought about getting the Ipad but was told this is not compatable with Windows and it is not possible to upload scanned notes.

Can anyone advise if there is a tablet that suits my needs.

There are notebooks where you can turn the screen and fold down so you have a tablet. Touchscreen etc. Scanning can be done with a hand scanner, or transfer from a printer/scanner, wireless if you like.

thanks for your reply. yes, I like what you have suggested but I need in now and not in a few months.

Someone suggested the Asus TF300T - do you know if this will allow me to upload scanned and Word documents?

I believe that one uses an Android OS, Sorry, I know nothing about them.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab and can read Word docs on there. Can also access Internet, listen to music and read books. Everything on your list plus I have put films on too.
It also has a good camera for stills and video.
