We won the pub quiz and I let my friend have the silver cup to keep for the year. I promise it had nothing to do with my aversion to polishing silver.
I also discovered my knowledge of pop music and Russia is even worse than I thought. But I do know useless things.

Hi Flump....I'm sure I heard her muttering......polish the bloody thing!!!! I have to polish the bloody thing. :-)

The Guinness before probably helped Nox, and I'm quite happy with the wine I won. Nearly had fisticuffs with a guy named Sean in the team we always try to beat over the dialing code to Ireland. I got it right...according to the quiz master but I'm not too sure....still. :-) Maybe we shouldn't take it so seriously!

Arrrrgh Crafty! I clip ears if I'm at a quiz and a phone comes out. Amazing how many people develop weak bladders during a quiz. If anyone goes to the loo more than once I follow them. ;-)

Kerry is beautiful and my family ties are there......but I love the burren too and the wild wesht of Mayo. Thinking of a few weeks wandering between Mayo and Kerry next year then finishing off in Dublin.
