How Do I Copy My Contacts On My Iphone To My Pc??

can anyone help and give basic instructions as to how i update my iphones contacts onto my pc?

ive synced the phone with itunes and backed it up but where do my contacts go to? i just dont get it!!

phone is going into apple tomorrow for them to look at and im worried our contacts are not backed up as i cant find them on my pc!

any help will be much appreciated.

you cant on the iphone ,maybe different on the latest model but ya cant on mine
write them down thats all ya can do
