I bought myself a new phone today,(as I didn't get one for Christmas)
They sorted it out for me in the shop and I have charged it fully.

I now have a drawing/icon of a phone with an arrow pointing to the top of it. Is it doing something which needs to be completed before the phone is ready to use?

It doesn't say anything about this 'icon' in the user guide.

Now that icon has disappeared and the phone seems to be dead. I have plugged in the charger and nothings happening at all.

I don't know about Tocco phones but a lot of phones have a recessed button on the top edge which, if kept pressed for 2 seconds or so, will switch the phone ON or OFF. You could try doing that.

Thanks, Wak. I took it back yesterday. It was faulty and not holding the charge. I got a new one, which works perfectly.
