Transferring Photos From Pc To Cd Dvd/memory Stick
2 Answers
I want to clear my Kodak EasyShare photos by putting them on either CDs DVDs or memory sticks. So far I've done a few but only one by one. I was hoping to do them album by album but not been able to do that yet. I selected a lot of photos and thought they would all transfer. They did't. Also what is the best storage medium CD/DVD or memory stick? Thanks a lot folks.

Sticks are great however I would invest on an external Hard drive such as WD Passport. They work with USB 2 and the newer USB 3 connections for you laptop/PC. You can also put music/ video/letters etc on it as well.
I tend to backup my photo's to CD/DVD about every six months, provided you put the CD/DVD into a plastic envelope and keep it out of the sun it should be ok. I tend to use memory sticks as purely very temporary storage because they are small, easily damaged, lost and the early ones were easily corrupted.
LochNessMonsters point about using an external Hard Drive as backup is good and I have one of those as well. They are reasonably cheap and you can add a weekly Windows backup as well, provided you buy one with sufficient capacity.
