Is is possible to get 5mm toughened glass cut? I know it's not a DIY job, but what about the professionals?

It can be cut using a laser, but few professionals will have the equipment. Otherwise it has to be cut before it's toughened. If already toughened, it can be heated in an oven to destroy the toughness (annealed), then cut.
