Replacing A Radiator Thermostat
4 Answers
The temp control dial on our radiator has broken off. There is no urgency as the radiator still works and isn't really needed at the moment but I obviously need to replace it.
From trawling t'internet it would appear that it is easy to replace but the only ones I can find appear to come with the pipe fittings around it (or at least thats what the pics show).
Can anyone recommend a site that sells top parts of replacement controls?
If it helps the dial states 'ACL Lifestyle'.
Thanks.

That's a "Drayton" fitting Matt. I don't usually pay more than a fiver for TRVs, so I'm afraid I just use the head and keep the rest for spares. Something I really don't understand ........ http://www.h eatingcontro lsonline.co. uk/acl-drayt on-lifestyle -rt212-trv-p -330.html Now look at the cost of replacement heads....... .......
