just wondered, at what stage in a marriage does a hubby suggest an eternity ring or just he just surprise his beloved?

I've never really been sure when you get an eternity ring. I think I received mine as a ten year endurance reward. I believe others receive them on the birth of a child.

Mine surprised me with mine when we renewed our wedding vows.

I must admit though, he used to bring me a watch every January (probably the Sales, but hey-ho)
Either time was ticking or he thought I had a lovely wrist which needed one :-D

Yes, it's a beautiful ring, took about 2 years to find one which looked and felt right. I have a very unusual engagement ring and small fingers so it had to fit in just right....and it does.

I've only taken my wedding ring off a handful of times and my rings stay on my finger....in fact that's almost all the jewellery I possess!
