How deep are the scratches, Conne ?.
Question Author
as I said very fine but long
Can you feel them with your finger nail ?.
Conne, if you can't feel them with your finger nail T-Cut should do the job.
Question Author
Didn't try the finger-nail tip - will do as I am taking Harv down to park soon. Does it need to be finger-nail or finger tip.
Finger nail Conne, run your finger nail across the scratch and feel for it to catch on the scratch.

thanks tony on my way before it gets a little cold bye
Okey Dokey.
You will get much better results on surface scratches with this Farecla G3 Professional product. From Halfords and cheaper to buy than T-cut.

That looks like good stuff, gingejbee.
Yes, tony - my neighbour has used it on similar fine scratches on a dark car and was amazed by the result.
Mmmmmm, think I will get some of that, gingejbee. Thanks.

thanks to both of you - am just logged on again - yes Tony used fingernail - they are very fine - but am not amused at the fact (my car is parked beside my house) on the driveway and whoever f scraped the other side so as not to be seen. My neighbours car have all scraped too. Will try that other product Gingebee suggested. bye

tony AV - you were saying bless you (oh I need to get some of that too) are you being scraped too - what is it all about. I will man up big time to the biggest crashes of my life - but this wee car - no not a scrape from me - where are the scrapes coming from.
unfortunately dark coloured vehicles really do show up scratches, especially black, also black can be quite a 'soft' colour and very easy to mark. Only ever owned one black vehicle, never again.
Farecla is a professional quality product, bodyshops use it.
