You can rank each selection as High, Med or Low priority but we've found that if you go for something even a little obscure - in our case it was the little known (joke) show Northern Exposure second series - they apparently have only one copy for the entire UK and our having it as High Priority doesn't stop them sending other lower rated items first.
The other thing they've just done to us is send disc one of Six Feet Under, followed by the second disc and then the third, so we have all three of our choices taken up with one series. We thought they issued each disc of a single disc - i.e. watch disc one over a period of a week or whatever, get disc two on return. In the meantime, we were expecting two choices from elsewhere on our list. That's certainly annoying as we now have to watch 3 discs before we can watch anything else - what if we're not in the mood for 6FU?
However, overall, we've found it pretty good and certainly about 25% of the price it would have been through a conventional video shop.
I know they're the same because I got confused when I found a mate's review of a film via the Tesco interface, knowing he was with ScreenSelect!
See http://www.videoisland.co.uk/ - they've merged.
Tesco seems to be about a quid cheaper for three simultanoues discs.
